Day 2: La Cala & Malaga
Have breakfast at home, and walk the beach with your coffee if you want to! The beach is 1-2 min away walking.
I would take the group to La Cala de Mijas, one of the original fishing villages of the area.
It’s just about 2 min drive from the house, or a 25 minutes walk along the soft golden beach across the house.
The village has everything you can expect from a town, it’s full of cafes, family run-shops, outdoor markets, different cuisine restaurants, and of course beach restaurants or ‘chiringuitos’. The old town is small, with narrow lovely streets, and it’s very easy to walk the entire place in a short amount of time.
The group will walk it’s wooden promenade that hugs the coastline, and offers plenty of places to sit, relax and snack while enjoying the sea views, and of course! I will recommend you where to eat!
The friendly atmosphere of this village is very unique and charming, making this little town a delightful place.
After La Cala, I will drive the group to Malaga to visit its immaculate all pedestrian’s marble streets, and surroundings, visit the Cathedral, the Roman Theater, the stunning views of the city from the Alcazaba, the best preserved Moorish fortress in Spain. All of this is within walking distance. I will also take you to the magnificent Gibralfaro Castle built in 929 A.
You will lunch around the old quarter, where you can taste some of Andalusia’s best tapas, or lunch the famous ‘chiringuitos’ (beachside seafood restaurants).
The group will head back to the villa to get some rest, beach time, etc...
Get ready to be picked up for a nice dinner!
Day 3: Banus Port & Mijas
I will drive the group (25-30 Min), to PUERTO BANUS, Spain’s most luxury marina, famous for its yachts, outdoor shopping complex, and restaurants, with an impressive mountain and sea views.
We will make a stop to enjoy beautiful Puente Romano boardwalk of Marbella on the way to Puerto Banus.
The group will go back home, for a few hours, after having lunch at Banus port, and I will take you to Mijas, a enchanting whitewashed village in the mountain, just 20 minutes away from the house.
Mijas is famous for its ‘ donkey taxis’ and spectacular views of the Mediterranean and rural countryside.
You will have dinner in favorite restaurant in Mijas.

This town with beautiful architecture, it is one of the loveliest places in Spain, where you must see its astonishing sunset!
We will visit the town by foot, el Puente Nuevo ( the new bridge), for the magnificent panoramic views, the main attraction of Ronda.
Also a visit of Mondragon’s palace, built in the 13th century, the bullfight ring, which it is Spain’s oldest bullfighting, and where the tradition of bullfighting was born.
For wine lovers, we will make a stop in a couple of its exceptional vineyards for some wine tasting and other typical Ronda’s products. (deluxe & flexible package).
Day 6: Nerja & Frigiliana
Good morning group!
Hope you have your cameras, phone charged, and bathing suit ready, just in case you want to go swimming.
We are on our way to the fantastic coastal fishing village of Nerja, a charming seaside town, and one of my premier destinations of the Costa del Sol. The group will enjoy the scenic 1h coastal drive.
A visit to one my favorite white washed mountain villages is a must, that is Frigiliana, about 20 min from Nerja or so.
We will visit the Balcón de Europa ( Europe’s Balcony ) that offers amazing views of the Mediterranean coast.
You will stroll Nerja’s picturesque narrow streets, full of cafes, boutiques, and great ice cream shops!
If the group wants, we can go down the stairs to its crystal clear water beach, about a minute or two walking.
Time for lunch! Plenty of fresh seafood restaurants as well as many other types of cuisine! I have a couple of my favorite restaurants in mind, depending what the group feels like eating.
On our way to see the Nerja caves, we will make a stop to see the Acueducto del Águila (Eagle’s Aqueduct).
The group will take a tour of Las Cuevas de Nerja, ( Nerja’s caves ). It’s also home of the world’s largest stalagmite, it has held its record in the Guinness Book since 1989. A visit to these caves is truly a unique experience! ( deluxe & flexible package ).
Now let’s go to the lovely and well maintained, white village of Frigiliana. Built on a mountainside, the whole atmosphere and feel of this place is just remarkable.
To visit the village, we will walk through its impeccable narrow streets.
I will take the group to my favorite restaurant in the village, with gorgeous sea and mountain views, and of course great food and drinks.
Day 7: Madrid
After having a blast in South Spain, today the group will go back to Madrid since you will be departing next day.
( I will go with you to Madrid and show you around if you pick the DELUXE package, otherwise you will go back on your own, and your tour will finish once I drop you at Malaga’s train or airport station, and you would be responsible for your last day and hotel in Madrid ).
I will take you to Malaga’s train station, and we will try to get to Madrid around noon or earlier, so you have more time to experience the capital.
You will be checking in a 5-star hotel, ( deluxe package) that I will already have booked for you.
The group will visit the largest Royal Palace in Western Europe, a monumental and majestic building that was built during the 18th and 19th centuries ( deluxe package ).
We will walk around the old part of the capital to visit the Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Alcalá, Retiro Park, Plaza Santa Ana, the gourmet tapas market of San Miguel, and of course Madrid’s most popular chocolate shop to try their ‘ chocolate con churros.
