Smile you are in Spain!

I will pick you up at Malaga’s airport (AGP airport code), also called Pablo Picasso airport, or at Malaga’s train station. The train station is called ‘Maria Zambrano’.

I will drive you to the house which is 25 min away from the airport or 30 min from the train station.

Depending on the time you arrive to Malaga, how tired you group is, or if if you got jet lag or not, you may want to rest and stay home or go somewhere. That will be up to you the group.

So if you are not too tired or had the chance to rest some, I would take the group to La Cala de Mijas, one of the original fishing villages of the area.
It’s just about 2 min drive from the house, or a 25 minutes walk along the soft golden beach across the house.

The village has everything you can expect from a town, it’s full of cafes, family run-shops, outdoor markets, different cuisine restaurants, and of course beach restaurants or ‘chiringuitos’.

The old town is small, with narrow lovely streets, and it’s very easy to walk the entire place in a short amount of time.

The group will walk it’s wooden promenade that hugs the coastline, and offers plenty of places to sit, relax and snack while enjoying the sea views.
And of course! I will recommend you where to eat!

The friendly atmosphere of this village is very unique and charming, making this little town a delightful place.

I will drive the group to Malaga to visit its immaculate all pedestrian’s marble streets, and surroundings, visit the Cathedral, the Roman Theater, the stunning views of the city from the Alcazaba, the best preserved Moorish fortress in Spain.

All of this is within walking distance.

I will also take you to the magnificent Gibralfaro Castle built in 929 A.D and see the great views of Malaga city.

You will lunch around the old quarter, where you can taste some of Andalusia’s best tapas, or lunch the famous ‘chiringuitos’ (beachside seafood restaurants).

The group will head back to the villa to get some rest, beach time, etc...

Get ready to be picked up for a nice dinner!

Time to go back home, and get ready to go to the prestigious, and glamorous town of Marbella, famous for its beaches, world class golf, vibrant nightlife, and high end shopping.

The group will walk around the spectacular old quarter, where most of their beautiful Castilian Renaissance architecture buildings were built in the 14th and 15th century, with lots of chic boutiques, coffee shops and great restaurants.

Experience the excellent ambiance of Plaza de Los Naranjos, a charming plaza full of orange trees, and one of the most emblematic sights in Marbella.

We won’t miss the Paseo Maritimo ( promenade) for a short walk on it’s marble walkways, full of palms and flowers, and fabulous views of the sea.

The group will have dinner in Marbella, and will watch and authentic flamenco show, which takes place in a typical old Andalusian house you can not miss!

After an unforgettable evening, I will take you home or experience the glamorous and famous worldwide Marbella’s nightlife.

Today we are going to the energetic, fabulous, and welcoming ancient city of Seville. Famous worldwide for it’s culture, monuments, traditions, artistic heritage, and it’s amazing Easter processions.

The group will visit the Seville Cathedral, the largest gothic cathedral in the world, where you will be able to see Christopher Columbus’ tomb.

This cathedral is an UNESCO world heritage site.

A visit to the Royal Alcazar is a must.  A 10th century breathtaking palace, originally a Moorish fortress, with magnificent gardens, it’s also  an UNESCO World heritage site

I will take you to the gorgeous  and impressive Plaza de España, a mixed of Art Deco, Spanish renaissance, Baroque and Moorish revival styles.

You will ride a lovely horse-drawn carriage around the beautiful city.

Day 6: Cordoba

Will pick you up early because we are on our way to Cordoba! The only city in the whole world that has as many as four Unesco Cultural Heritage Sites!!
Cordoba is about 1h and 50 minutes drive.

You will visit the Great Mosque Cathedral, one of the world’s most amazing UNESCO Heritage Sites, built in the 8th century, and the second biggest Mosque in the world.

Lunch in one of Cordoba’s best restaurants with authentic cuisine, and we will go visit the Alcazar de los Reyes Cristianos (Castle of the Christian Monarchs). This castle served as a fortress and palace.
Residence of the Roman Governor, and later on, the primary residence of Isabelle I, and Ferdinand II (Catholic Kings), It was also the place were Christopher Columbus explained to them his discovery route plans. The gardens at this place are splendid!

The group will walk the Historic Centre of Cordoba (also Unesco World Heritage Site), the oldest part of the city with lots of courtyards and narrow streets, under an impressive combination of Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque styles. We will also see the Tower of Calahorra, and cross the Roman Bridge. The Jewish quarter is also part of the historic centre of Córdoba where we can also visit the Jewish Synagogue, probably the best preserved monument in Córdoba.

Another great option that I really recommend (not for kids) in Córdoba, would be to experience an Andalusian Arab/Turkish bath, and massage in a Hammam for an excellent state of relaxation! (included with the premier package, but if not interested let me know.) You will also have the choice to include this bath/massage at any other package you choose with an extra cost)

You will never want to leave that place!

Time to go back to the house!

You will visit the ALHAMBRA, an ancient palace, and fortress of the Moorish monarchs, it’s an Unesco World Heritage site, and Spain’s most significant historical landmark.

After the Alhambra, I will take the group to the Albayzín, Granada’s oldest Moorish district situated on the hill across from the Alhambra, spectacular views, and will lunch at one of my preferred places in the city.

Day 9: Rock of Gibraltar & Tarifa

I will drive you to Gibraltar, a British overseas territory located in a narrow peninsula of Spain’s Mediterranean coast. It’s about 90 minutes drive from the house. We will walk across the border, which is actually the airport runway! It opens for pedestrians to cross it when planes are not taking off or landing. Such an experience!

You will have to bring your passport and remember at this point you are not in Spain anymore.

The group will visit the Rock! A 1400 feet high jurassic limestone rock rising out of the sea,

You will walk around the old quarter of this fortress city, and take a private tour up to the Rock, St. Michael’s cave, Europa point lighthouse, the Great Siege tunnel, dug out by the British to protect Gibraltar from an attempt of Spain and France of capturing the territory from Great Britain.

The group will lunch in Gibraltar.

After visiting Gibraltar, I will take you to one of my favorites places in south Spain, the kitesurfing capital of Europe; the ‘always windy’ town of Tarifa.
You will walk through the Puerta de Jerez, the only one of four medieval entrances remaining, to enter the old town of Tarifa, full of whitewash houses, coffee shops, boutiques built in caves, and lovely Andalusian courtyards.

After visiting the old town, I will take you to my favorite place in Tarifa to see the sunset and relax by the sea!
Tarifa has the most chilled out atmosphere ever, especially in the summer months.

Long and fun day today, Time for the group to go back.
